The Battle Of Yorktown

Today Tuesday September 28, 1781, there is a battle happening in Yorktown Virginia. Our two army’s are The Great Britten and the U.S colony. George Washington and de Rochambeau are going against General Lord Cornwallis and his troops. This sis the last battle of the Revolutionary war. Before this war started this town was commonly called York. The two leaders of the U.S are George Washington,and the leader of the British is general Lord Cornwallis. There have been 72 people killed on our side and 309 killed on the British side. There are 180 people who have been wounded on our side, and 326 wounded on the British side. Our Forces are 20,600 and the British side is 8,980. The U.S colony has a sweet victory of winning!
